Aleaya and Sven

Grab a blanket and snuggle up, because this is a long one! Sven is a goofy ottb with personality to spare. He kept cracking us up with his crazy eye, big smiles, and tongue, which he could never seem to keep inside of his mouth. Aleaya is more used to his antics than I am, despite him being my own horse’s neighbor, but he still managed to get a few laughs out of her 😉

We got plenty of formal pictures with his bridle on as well as some cute candids, but some of my favorites are the ones at the very end of the shoot. After a whole hour and a half of holding it together, (well kind of, RIP reins) we took the bridle off and turned Sven out for some playtime. After he had a nice gallop, it was really cool to see the two interact all by themselves with out a bridle or halter. I think I will have to incorporate this into more of my sessions!
