Now that you know a little bit of my backstory, here’s an informal introduction. I'm Lily, an equine portrait photographer based in beautiful Arizona. Although I love photographing any place green, the warm and sunny southwest has my heart. Some of my favorites include: mornings spent at the barn, summertime, snuggling with my pups, fall candles, and my horse Marsha. My happy place is on a horse, and the barn is where I feel most at peace.
As equestrians, we spend the majority of our time thinking about our horse, spending time at the barn with our horse, or trying to pay for said horse. As Annie Dillard says, "How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives". We dedicate our lives to our horses. And in return, they bring us joy and healing in ways that almost nothing else ever could. One of my greatest joys is bringing to life this unexplainable bond before a client’s eyes, so that they can remember one of their most meaningful relationships for years to come.
I can distinctly remember the day I was gifted my very own camera on my tenth birthday. I took that little purple nikon everywhere I traveled, until it completely shut down due to over-use.
It's been seven years since I first discovered my passion, and some things have definitely changed since then. After a camera upgrade and a little perseverance, I can't wait to share my business with you!
