Savannah’s Senior Portraits

Savannah’s session was one for the books! I have known Savannah since since third grade, and I love that we have stayed friends through the years. She made this shoot a breeze, and I’m so excited to share it!

We started at the Pioneer Village, which is a museum and popular wedding venue, but we stayed out of the way and still got some beautiful shots! Some of my favorites were the ones in the green grass under the big trees, something that’s pretty hard to find in the desert! We also had access to a gazebo which was pretty neat, and we found some chickens (but we mostly stayed away from those).

We ended at an open desert location, which turned into a really cool surprise! Mid-shoot, I blurted out that I thought I heard rushing water, to which Savannah logically responded, “Lily, it’s the desert”. As we slowly made our way back, we found a wash that was filled with running water! So moral of the story, try and schedule your shoot after it rains because you’ll never know what we might find 😉

It was an honor to take your senior pictures, Savannah! Your talent and confidence as an actress is inspiring and I know your future is so bright! I can’t believe that the same little girls who played with American girl dolls at their brothers’ soccer games are now going to college. Thanks for freezing your butt off in the cold and standing on the edge of a cliff for a picture. I think it was worth it 🙂
