Alivia and Mud

This shoot was special for several reasons. The first being that it was Alivia’s 16th bday, on the day of the shoot! The fact that she took the time out of her special day to shoot with me makes me so happy.

The other special part about this shoot was the handsome guy below. His name is Mud, and Alivia has been leasing him this year as her first competition horse. Not only is he a perfect model, but Alivia says he’s been an awesome partner. It was so cool to watch the two of them show this summer at the Coconino Horse Trials- you could tell how much fun they were having! (And how much Mud enjoys jumping- A LOT!)

Alivia, I hope you had the most amazing sweet sixteenth! It is easy to see how much you love Mud, but you can also tell how much he loves you 🙂 Thanks for letting me capture your bond, so you can remember it for years to come.
